POSSUM TRAPPING
....having just complete renovations of their house these clients believed they had inadvertently trapped a possum in the ceiling..... Mark from Wildlife Answers was extremely prompt in his response to my enquiry and in coming to our house. He provided a cost effective and friendly service. We would have no problem recommending him and would call on him again in the future. Sharon
YELLOW BELLIED BLACK SNAKE
.... I had never encountered a snake in my life I was terrified to find a Yellow-Bellied- Black Snake in my house. I desperately phoned the "snake catchers" number online only to be met with answering services or worse rude people. When Kim from Wildlife Answers answered the phone i was so relieved. Once we ID’ed the snake, which turned out to be a Common Tree Snake, I felt 200% better. She assured me that even though she couldn’t immediately get a snake catcher to me. .. that I would be right to deal with the situation as the snake was trying to get out the window and if I removed the screen the snake would be able to release itself... Kim not only talked me through what to do to safely remove the screen, but phoned back to check that everything had gone ok and with a snake guy she had on standby and available if I needed him. Now I am not saying that i am confident with snakes now, but i know that if ever i encounter one again i will be ringing Wildlife Answers... Jen and Ray
POSSUM REMOVAL - BUILDING SITE
...... after phoning everyone in the book and with a worksite on hold we were becoming extremely frustrated at trying to do the right thing for a possum who had taken to sleeping in our work site. With the possum in danger of injury or death we were desperate to find someone who could help. Within an hour of phoning Wildlife Answers they had a competent person on site who removed the possum and work was able to resume. The possum was safely released nearby unharmed and none the worse for her adventure. Craig
SPOTTER CATCHER – Private Residence
…….John really got a thrill helping the animals, as did I and the boys watching them be released, back on to our property. I am a real animal nut and really felt mean disturbing their homes. As John probably told you we fought very hard to try and make the Council see sense with where we originally wanted to place the house, with minimal removal of trees. They were/are so frustrating!!!! The trees coming down last Saturday was quite upsetting. The animals you and Mark found were amazing. We would never have known they were there. Makes you wonder how many get killed and injured when places are cleared and no one stops to "think"! So glad we got you in and gave the animals at our place a chance at least!
You guys really do a great job! Thanks for all your help, Kerry R
SNAKE RELOCATION & ADVICE
..."thank you so much to Kim and the team for being so helpful!! I was pretty overwhelmed to have found not one but two snakes in the course of a day but Kim talked me through it (several times!!) and sent me photos to help identify and then came up with solutions. Even followed up with an email with more facts on the type of snakes we had! Was thrilled with the knowledge and service provided and am very thankful that I rang Wildlife Answers. If ever I see another snake we know who to call for brilliant service and support.'...Jess
......This morning I contacted your company regarding a python that had been in our vicinity and due to a recent birth of puppies we were concerned. The snake was under our house and distressing our dog. Mr. Alexander responded to my phone call and agreed to come to my house. His response was prompt and arrived at our premises within the hour.
He and his partner were very professional, respectful and courteous and had obvious experience in dealing with this type of matter. I was confident in their assurance that the snake would be relocated appropriately. Their professionalism was very reassuring. Again, I wish to thank Mark and his partner for their assistance and cannot recommend them enough.
Kind regards Mary
....... We have been concerned about white crowned snakes coming into our home and have been at a loss to know how to go about catching them and also how to keep them out. The advice given over the phone was most helpful and reassuring. Our roller door is about to be modified. We will also follow the good advice to make sure we know what type of snake we are dealing with. Thank you again it is so nice to know expert advice is available ....Regards Rob from Wellington Point
.....Our puppy became sick last Saturday and was taken to the vet...unable to find anything the vet kept our puppy and sent us home. On coming back int our garage (where our puppy sleeps) i thought i saw a tail of a snake. I rang Wildlife Answers and was reassured that a Snake Catcher would be with us soon. Within 1/2 an hour the snake catchers arrived and promptly found a small red-bellied black snake. With the snake identified i rang the vet. They were then able to treat my puppy appropriately and probably save her life. The Snake Catcher also gave me some useful advice on how to keep snakes from our garage and house. ...We ( my puppy) can't thank you enough.... Kaitlyn.
…..Thanks for taking the time to answer our questions. Your website has great snake pictures - we hope we never have an encounter with most of those snakes. It's good to know that pythons mainly hunt at night; we will be keeping our dogs inside at night. It sounds like snakes are unavoidable in SE QLD. When we do live there and find a snake in our yard we definitely will be calling a you if we need a snake catcher. Thanks again. Aitu & Corrie
I did see on the news that the snakes are quite active at the moment.
Thanks again for being so helpful.
I will get my hubby onto the chook security issue! Regards, Ingeborg. (Carpet Python in the chook shed)
……Thank you for identifying the snake. I'm glad to hear it is harmless - well almost! I was starting to get a bit edgy every time I walk out the front door. With its recently shed skin it is a couple of metres long so must be getting food from somewhere. We do live on the edge of a forest. Hope you have a relaxing festive season and thank you for providing this information to us..............Kind regards Diana.
……Thanks so very much for your help. I will be keeping your contact details close at hand, as I have small children and all of us have a great deal of curiosity about snakes and reptiles, but are uneducated about types and breeds. No matter what though, fearless or not, I still have a very keen "respect" of snakes and appreciate that no matter how lovely they look, they can be quite dangerous. Have a great night!!
Thanks again, Naomi
….Thanks for your reply email. Having looked at your image of the Yellow face Whip snake, it is very similar to the one I saw, particularly around the eyes. Our cat was sick earlier this year, and the vet suspected a Whip snake bite. (She has already been bitten by a Eastern brown, and her symptoms were quite different). Your info has been very helpful, and we will certainly call you, if needed. Many thanks, Fiona
……Thanks for your advice – it’s a wonderful service you offer and I am sure you get a lot of questions. So thank you for reassuring us. Regards Emma
…. Thank you very much for the quick reply. That is a relief as I'm a Canadian and really don't like snakes When I saw the website address for wildlifeanswers.com. I saw the words accredited and licensed in the business description so I decided to keep reading. Then I noticed there was a website address for the business. I typically always choose a business that has a website as I can find out more about them before making contact. Your site seemed very professional and was quite useful. Not wanting to disturb you with a phone call (as the 'snake' wasn't an immediate threat) I thought you could better advise a course of action if you actually saw some photos so I decided to send an email. And you answered me immediately with wonderful advice. Again thanks for your assistance. I'll be placing your website address and contact number in a handy location should I ever encounter a 'wildlife ‘issue. Much appreciated, Rod

" When we had a snake problem at our centre we had difficulty finding someone appropriate to come out and help us. We found Mark's website and immediately were impressed by the professionalism and prompt contact, service, price and assistance that he gave us. Mark and Kim attended the centre and did a great talk with the children about snake safety and first aid and then a very comprehensive report and recommendation of what we can do to make our centre a little more snake free. It was great to deal with them and we would highly recommend them to anyone who had a snake problem."

POSSUM TRAPPING & advice
....When a possum landed in our living room one night we didn't know what to do. It was late at night..who was going to help us. Reluctantly we rang Wildlife Answers, not really expecting to get an answer. But surprisingly someone did answer and they talked us through what to do. After 20 mins on the phone getting advice we tried it and success ..the possum trotted out the door and into the bush and we could go back to sleep. Thank you for your patience and advice ...Robyn & Jo
....I had rung so many people who didn’t want to know about my possum problem, even though they advertised as " Possum Catchers". You were the first people to talk to me and talk me though what I needed to do. You were the first people that took the time to explain that the possum/s could only be released within 25 meters of my house and why we needed to address the problem of the access first. We followed your specific advice and when the possums went out to feed last night we installed the temporary cover over their access hole. It worked a treat....Thank you so much Cassie & George
……..Once again thanks for your help in sorting out this situation. I feel much happier now, that I still get to see the possums, but the dog has also settled down nicely.....Kind regards, Wendy
….Thank you so much for your prompt response to my possum problem. After many nights of putting up with noisy possums in my ceiling, I can final get a good night’s sleep. And I know the possums are safe and well in their new house
Thank you again, Brenda
…..Your possum door worked a treat. The first night we heard the door open and close two times and then there was silence. The possums were obviously on the roof but could not get back into our ceiling. Thank you for your expertise and ingenuity. Peter
…..as you suggested I had a friend look up in our ceiling space…we could straight away see the gap and the light coming in..we waited till after dark and as you recommended blocked up the hole and sprayed around it. We have not be bothered by the possum since......Thanks for your advice Keely
